Peter Marsh began his recording career in the 1970s..
He recorded four albums with Ken Nicol, as Nicol and Marsh and EasyStreet. After parting ways with Nicol, he recorded a solo post punk album, Twist, in 1979. During the 1980s he recorded extensively with artists including Vangelis, and – under the pseudonym Tinker – as lead singer of the synthpop group Blanket of Secrecy.
In recent years Peter Marsh’s music – much of which was recorded at his studio in France – has been widely used in film productions. The title track of his 2013 album, Stop the Clock, became a hit in Hong Kong and S.E. Asia after being featured in Hong Kong TV drama Triumph of the Skies.
